A movie is being filmed in Milford Falls—and Sonny Herrara will kill to prevent it.  The film’s producer tries to hire O’Malley for set security, and Lowan steps in to investigate.  Secrets abound among the cast and crew, and the script may solve a six-year-old crime which sent an innocent man to prison—if Sonny’s threats and sabotage don’t stop the production first.

S. E. Grosskopf’s writing is strongly influenced by the old pulp fiction magazines and Golden Age radio dramas of the 1930s-1950s. If you like fast-paced action and mystery with a dash of urban fantasy and quirkiness, then you’ll love these books. This is the ninth book in the series. The books follow chronologically. Reading them in order is recommended.
